RMS King George V Cruising out of Oban

This talk by Iain Quinn will be illustrated with slides covering King George V on the Tobermory, Staffa and Iona cruise, the Six Lochs and Corryvreckan whirlpool sailing and the morning and evening sailing to Fort William and a wonderful selection of pictures taken in and around Oban Bay, showing the majestic steamer and her much missed excursions to full advantage.

Please note that further branch meetings in 2022 will be announced in December 2021.

The hall is two minutes’ walk from Starbeck railway station on the York to Leeds branch line. The hall is large, with plenty of room for social distancing, and has ample car parking adjacent to the church, and in nearby streets.
