Open Day – Friends of Wemyss Bay Station 10th Anniversary


The Friends of Wemyss Bay Station are celebrating their 10th anniversary with an open day at the railway station on Saturday 22nd June. The Scottish Branch of the PSPS will be one of several organisations in attendance at this free event.

Other organisations expected to attend include; Ayrshire Coastal Path, Bute Conservation Trust, Caledonian MacBrayne, Clyde River Steamer Club, Inverclyde Tourist Group, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, ScotRail, Skelmorlie & Wemyss Bay Clean Up Crew and Visit Scotland.

Finally Geoff Marshall and Vicki Pipe, of the YouTube "All the Stations" series and Chris Vine author of the "Peter's Railway" series of books are expected to be present.
