Jane Austen Suite, Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin Hotel.
The formal notice for the 32nd Annual General Meeting and agenda is published in the Autumn 2019 edition of Paddle Wheels (issue 237). Following the formal business there will be a video presentation from Richard Turner, featuring archive film from our late founder and president Professor Alan Robinson.
Those attending the AGM may wish to enjoy a short sea trip on a Red Funnel ferry before the meeting. Suggested departure from Southampton at 10am to East Cowes and return on the same vessel arriving Southampton at 12:30pm. Alternatively take a Red Jet service to West Cowes, with a journey time of 20 minutes.
Additionally the Hythe Ferry may suit some for a short trip across Southampton Water to Hythe Pier, and sample the delights of the World’s Oldest Pier Train running over a length of 640 metres (2,100 feet), on one of the ten longest piers in the British Isles.
Hosted by the Wessex and Dart Branch.
Sorry, the National AGM is for PSPS members only.
